The Shervington (family lot)
The Shervington is one of the eco houses that have been designed by the in-house ecovillage team at Witchcliffe Eco Village. The sustainable home builders at Tate Construction are responsible for the construction of the timber design options – which includes Vulcan Hector FSC Mix and Linea FC Cladding.
The Shervington is named after a prominent Witchcliffe family member and former landowner of the ecovillage site. The eco friendly home has a three-bedroom, two-bathroom, open plan living design and has options for a north or west/east alfresco area.
The Croft (family lot)
The Croft is a compact eco friendly home design with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and open space kitchen and living areas. The home also has a very large north deck with a solar pergola to make the most of outdoor living and allows natural light to bathe the living areas.
The environmentally friendly house has generous room sizes while still retaining ample external areas that are sure to delight enthusiastic gardeners. The Croft meets all of the comprehensive Witchcliffe Ecovillage Sustainable House Building Design Guidelines, so the hard work is done for you.
The Drover (groupie lot)
The Drover is a two-storey eco friendly house design that has bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs, which doubles its overall size to 95sqm. It has sun-drenched open living downstairs that spill out onto a beautiful north-facing timber deck. Clad in natural seasoned and pre-oiled timber, this eco friendly house is perfect for a small family or a couple who like a little more space.
Featuring design, materials and structural elements that produce a negative carbon rating, the upper floor loft spaces are ventilated with clerestory open-able windows to welcome the winter sun and cooling summer breezes. The Villager (cottage lot)
The Villager is a sustainable homes dream. Occupants can take in the wonderful freshness of the community gardens and open-air, with an internal courtyard and multiple deck areas. The eco friendly house is a three-bedroom, 2-bathroom H-shaped layout perfectly positioned to allow the morning winter sun to warm the kitchen – a beautiful way to enjoy your morning coffee.
