Tate Construction has been working in conjunction with Witchcliffe Ecovillage to develop and produce unique home designs that are perfectly suitable for it’s sustainable and eco-friendly objective. The Witchcliffe Ecovillage is set to become one of the world’s first fully integrated villages to be self-sufficient in renewable energy, water and fresh food produce.
Our designs must meet stringent requirements to achieve a complete negative carbon production for the entire life of the building. We are accomplishing this through the use of innovative and natural products. It is our aim to produce home designs that achieve a negative carbon rating, low emissions and sustainability.

To test the sustainability and eco-friendliness of our designs, our plans and materials have been put through a Life Cycle Assessment to ensure they meet the stringent criteria for the Witchcliffe Ecovillage. We have been working closely with various architects to create multiple designs; giving our clients a choice of nine homes to suit the Groupie, Cottage and Family lot sizes.
All of our designs can be adapted to suit individual requirements or a custom design can be completed if there is a particularly special vision. With our combined experience and knowledge we can help you to live your dream lifestyle in this world-class first development.
