Tate Construction’s first sustainable house in the Witchcliffe Ecovillage has been a tremendous success and we are thrilled to be able to hand it over to only the Ecovillage’s second resident. His home is a bespoke Shervington, designed by the Witchcliffe Ecovillage and modified by Pernille Stent of Design Button to match our client’s unique requirements. It was an impulsive decision and due to limited funds, I needed to choose a builder that had reliable infrastructure, their own trades and local connections as I knew a supply crisis was coming. The Shervington eco house

The Shervington is one of the eco houses that have been designed by the in-house ecovillage team at Witchcliffe Ecovillage. We are responsible for the construction of the timber design options – which include Linea FC Cladding. 

The Shervington is named after a prominent Witchcliffe family member and former landowner of the ecovillage site. The eco-friendly home has a three-bedroom, two-bathroom, open plan living design and has options for a north or west/east alfresco area.
